Summary: Very few adaptations of the tragedy of Frankenstein remain very faithful to the original story. But hey, now we got one! Sure, the casting is a bit weird, but that doesn't mean it’s any less enjoyable.

History: You know the story by now. Victor Frankenstein decides to create life, and makes a humanoid abomination out of human parts. Only this time, he makes it in a tank powered by electric eels (you read that right). Also, the monster is more intelligent than he lets on, and he endures the harshness of rejection that pushes him to murder.

Notable Kills: Rips out Frankenstein’s fiance's heart in retaliation for not getting a mate.

Final Fate: After Frankenstein crudely resurrects his fiancé, she freaks out in front of both he and the monster, and sets herself and the entire mansion on fire. Much later, Frankenstein dies pursuing his creation to the Arctic Circle, and the monster lights up a funeral pyre for both he and his father.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-This version of the monster, aside from looking rather hideous, is the smartest of the bunch, easily. But that only makes him more prone to knowing murderous vengeance.

Trivia: -This film's original director, Frank Darabont, was very displeased with how it was handled by its final director and star, Kenneth Branagh.

-If you can believe it, Tim Burton was originally considered to direct, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the monster.
